SYPCBLEDE is a genuine 5 pin LED control board for rangehoods supplied through Glen Dimplex, the group behind brands such as Baumatic and Technika. It is one of several boards used across those hoods, with separate versions for LED, LCD and halogen setups, so matching your old board is the key step. The board is used with a separate capacitor, part ATCAP02, which is not included.
Rangehood fan or lights not answering the controls?
Everything you press on the front of the rangehood is read by this board. It then switches the fan motor between its speeds and turns the lights on and off. A failing board can leave the hood completely dead, stuck on a single speed, unable to switch off, flickering its lights or ignoring button presses. Grease, steam and heat are hard on electronics, and a power surge can finish a board off too. Similar symptoms can come from a blown light, a damaged button panel or a motor that has seized, so check those first.

Checking and fitting the board
Isolate the rangehood at the power point or switchboard first, and use a licensed electrician if it is hard-wired. Remove the filters and the electronics cover, then photograph your old board and every plug before unplugging anything. Compare the photo with this board, including the 5 pin connector. Fit the ATCAP02 capacitor as part of the job and test each fan speed and the lights.
