SWT708UN is a generic lever type microswitch kit for appliance repairs where the original switch is no longer available or costs too much to justify. It's rated at 16A 250V and uses 4.8mm spade terminals, a size found on a great many appliance switches. Repairers carry these to get door, lid and interlock circuits working again, provided the body size, mounting holes and lever action suit the job.
When a sticking microswitch stops an appliance
Microswitches tell the control whether a door is shut, a lid is down or a lever has moved. They're small and cheap, but when the contacts burn or the plunger sticks, the appliance can refuse to start, stop part way through a cycle, leave a light on or flag a door fault. A quick test with a multimeter across the terminals, while you work the lever by hand, shows whether the switch is opening and closing as it should. If it isn't, a replacement with the same rating and contact layout is usually all that's needed.

Swapping the switch
Unplug the appliance before you start. Label each wire against its terminal, because if the switch has common, normally open and normally closed terminals, every wire must go back to the matching one. Check the new switch's body and mounting holes line up with the bracket and that the lever reaches its actuator. Test the action by hand before powering up.

Will this replace any microswitch?
No universal switch fits everything. Compare the body size, mounting hole spacing, terminal layout and lever length with your old switch, and make sure the circuit doesn't need more than 16A at 250V. If those line up, it should do the job.
