SPL0418 is a genuine Blanco 2.5W LED lamp for rangehoods. LED lamps run cooler and draw far less power than the halogen globes used in many older hoods, while still lighting the cooktop clearly. No rangehood models are on file for SPL0418, so check the number on the old lamp or confirm the fitting matches before ordering.
Rangehood light not working?
A rangehood light that won't come on is often a failed lamp, but LED units can also flicker, dim or show only some of their chips lit as they fail. Heat and grease from cooking shorten their life, as do power surges. Before replacing the lamp, check whether the other lights on the hood work, which rules out the switch and supply. If every light is out at once, the fault is more likely in the switch, wiring or power board than the lamps.

Changing the LED lamp
Switch the hood off and unplug it or isolate the circuit. Remove the lens or light cover, then unclip the old LED and disconnect it. Note how the wiring is routed so the new lamp sits the same way. Clip the new lamp in, refit the cover and test the light before putting the filters back.
