Installing the wired controller
Switch off the air conditioner at the circuit breaker before touching the controller wiring. The controller is wired back to the indoor unit, so the work should be done by a licensed electrician or qualified air conditioning technician. Note the existing terminal connections, mount the new controller on the wall plate, then power up and check it communicates with the indoor unit and shows no errors.
