Technika fan oven not heating? Part PA210008045 is the genuine 1950W fan forced element, the ring shaped element that sits behind the fan cover at the back of the oven. It's also known as 33303032, 30101200017 and PA210008016. Models on file include the Technika TB90FSS-5, T948SS-3, T948SS-5, B9GEF, B9GEFTSS-3 and TU950TLE8GL, along with the VGGU90SS, AR90S and RV94881.
Fan bake not working on a Technika oven
In fan forced mode the rear fan blows air across this element and circulates it through the cavity, giving even heat on every shelf. When the element fails, the fan keeps spinning and the light stays on, yet the oven barely warms up or never reaches the set temperature. Some failures trip the safety switch the moment fan bake is selected. Others are visible, with a split, a blistered patch or a burnt spot on the sheath. Top and bottom heat usually still work, which helps narrow it down to this element.

Changing the fan element
Isolate power to the oven at the switchboard. Take out the racks, unscrew the rear fan cover and remove the screws holding the element. Ease it forward to reach the terminals, which on some models means pulling the oven from the cabinet to work from behind. Note the wiring before disconnecting, fit the new element and refit the cover. Hard-wired ovens need a licensed electrician.
