It's also catalogued under MJS63771903, so either number on your old tray or in your manual points to this part. A cracked or chipped turntable is best replaced rather than used, as heat can make the damage spread. LG makes trays in several diameters, so check yours before you order.

Why your LG microwave needs its glass turntable

The glass tray carries the food and is turned by a coupler in the floor of the cavity, so dishes heat evenly instead of cooking hot on one side and cold on the other. It also catches spills before they reach the oven floor. Trays crack easily when they're dropped in the sink, hit by a heavy dish, or splashed with cold water while hot. A cracked tray can break apart mid cycle, wobble, or stop turning. Running the microwave without a tray usually leads to uneven heating and food sitting on the cavity floor.

Part details

Genuine LG part MJS63771901

Cross reference number MJS63771903

Glass turntable tray for LG microwave ovens

Diameter not on file, measure your old tray before ordering

Checking the fit before you use it

Lift out any broken glass carefully and wipe the cavity floor, roller ring and coupler.
