LG fridge leaking water or dispenser not working?
On these LG fridges, the water tank keeps a supply of water inside the cabinet so it is chilled before it reaches the dispenser. A cracked tank or a perished joint lets water leak inside the fridge compartment or onto the floor, often spotted as a pool under the bottom drawers. A tank that has been damaged or frozen can also leave the dispenser giving little or no water, or water that comes out warm. Older tanks may build up a film that affects the taste and won't clean out.

Replacing the water tank
Switch the fridge off at the wall, and turn off the water supply if your fridge is plumbed in. Take out the shelves or drawers covering the tank, note how any tubes and fittings connect, and release them carefully with a towel ready for spills. Fit the new tank, reconnect each line until it locks, restore the water and check for drips. Run a few jugs through the dispenser to purge the air.
