HyChill Minus 10 is an R600a hydrocarbon refrigerant, supplied here in a 475g can under part MINUS10-500G. R600a, also known as isobutane, is the gas used in a large share of modern household fridges and freezers. This can suits technicians recharging systems built for R600a after a leak repair, compressor change or other sealed system work.
Recharging an R600a fridge system
R600a systems run on small charges, often well under 100g, so getting the charge weight right matters. With too little gas the fridge runs on and on without getting cold enough, while too much can frost back the suction line and hurt efficiency. Before recharging, the leak or failed component has to be found and fixed, the system evacuated and the charge weighed in to the amount on the compliance plate. R600a is flammable, so good ventilation and keeping ignition sources clear are essential.

Work in a well ventilated area with no flames, sparks or sparking tools nearby, and use equipment rated for flammable refrigerants. Charge by weight using accurate scales. Keep cans in a cool, ventilated spot out of direct sun and away from heat sources.

Is the can tap included?
No. A can tap valve is needed to connect the can to your gauges or charging hose, and it's sold separately as part HR-ADA1. A bottle stand, part HR-STD, is also available to hold the can steady while charging.
