LG uses MCK numbers for covers across its appliance ranges, and this record doesn't name the appliance it comes from. To be sure it's right, match the number on your old cover, or send us the model and serial number from your LG appliance's label.

Why an insulating cover matters

Insulating covers keep heat, cold or electricity where it belongs. Depending on the appliance, they may cover terminals and wiring, separate a hot or cold area from nearby parts, or stop condensation forming where it could cause trouble. A cover that's cracked, warped, melted or missing can leave live parts exposed, let moisture reach electrical connections, cause frost or condensation on nearby surfaces, or simply rattle. Replacing it restores the protection the appliance was designed with.

Part details

Genuine LG part MCK69074904

Cover insulator

Appliance not recorded, confirm by part number

Fitting the cover

Unplug the appliance or isolate it at the switchboard before removing any panels.
