Cracked LG fridge door basket?
Door baskets carry a surprising load. Milk, juice bottles and sauce jars all ride in the door, and every time it swings open the basket takes the jolt. Over time the plastic cracks at the corners, the hooks that grip the door liner snap, or the front lip splits so bottles tip out. A basket that's cracked on one side also tends to sit crooked and rub when the door closes. Replacing it with the correct LG part means the hooks line up with the moulded supports on the door liner and the basket sits level.

Fitting the door basket
Empty the basket and lift it straight up off its supports, then lower the new one onto the same supports and press down until it sits firmly. Don't force it in at an angle. If your fridge has several door baskets in different sizes, compare the width and depth with the one you're replacing so it goes in the right position.
