This is the B version of ILVE's LED6009 light, a genuine ILVE part. A separate A version, LED6009A, also exists, and the two shouldn't be treated as interchangeable without checking. Our stock record names it only as an LED light, with no appliance or model attached. The letter at the end of the code on your old light is the quickest way to confirm LED6009B is the right one.

Fixing an ILVE light that has gone out

When a light fails you lose a clear view of the cooking area, and often the first hint is a flicker or a weaker, patchy glow. LED units include a small driver circuit, and heat cycling, moisture and grease take their toll on it over the years. Before replacing the light, confirm the appliance has power, the switch works and the plug behind the light hasn't worked loose. Fitting the B version light

Turn the appliance off and cut the power at the isolating switch or the breaker. Remove any cover or lens, then release the old light and unplug its lead, taking a photo first if the wiring isn't obvious. Plug in the new LED6009B, seat it in the same position and refit the cover. Hard-wired appliances need a licensed electrician.
