Signs your Mitsubishi fridge door seal has failed
A fridge door gasket has a magnetic strip inside a soft, flexible profile, which pulls the seal tight against the cabinet when the door closes. When it splits, flattens or pulls away from the door, warm air leaks in. You'll notice condensation or frost near the door, food spoiling sooner, the compressor running longer than usual, or a door that springs back open. Try the paper test. Close the door on a sheet of paper, and if it slides out easily, the seal isn't gripping at that spot.

Unpack the gasket a day ahead and lay it flat in a warm room so creases from packing can relax. With the fridge off at the wall, peel back the old seal to see whether it pushes into a channel or is held by screws, then remove it. Fit the new gasket starting at the top corners and work around. A hair dryer on low can help a stubborn corner sit flat.
