As the cartridge loads up, the flow from the dispenser slows to a trickle, ice can come out small or cloudy, and the water may start to taste of the tap again. Many models also show a filter change reminder on the display. Changing it on schedule keeps the water tasting clean and avoids starving the ice maker. Your user manual gives the recommended interval, which depends on how much you use and your local water quality.

Part details

Genuine Hisense part K2100990

Also listed as K2100988 and HX2019FR-A

Replacement water filter cartridge for Hisense fridges

Eight Hisense models on file

Changing the filter

Check your user manual for where the filter sits and which way it twists to release.
