hr05x01179-genuine-haier-freezer-bin-front-cover
HR05X01179 Genuine Freezer Bin Front Cover for Haier Fridge Freezers, Freezer Basket Front Panel Replacement Part

This is the front cover for a freezer bin, a genuine Haier part numbered HR05X01179. It's the panel on the front of the freezer bin or drawer that you see and grab each time you open the freezer. Haier makes freezer bins in several widths and styles, so check that HR05X01179 matches the number moulded into your old cover or listed in the parts list for your fridge.

Cracked or broken freezer bin front?

Freezer bin fronts take a lot of knocks. Plastic gets brittle at freezer temperatures, so a bump from a frozen item, a dropped bag or pulling the bin too hard can crack the cover or snap one of its clips. Once that happens the front may sit loose, fall away when you open the bin or leave sharp edges. A damaged front also lets the bin rattle and can stop it closing neatly. Replacing the cover restores the bin without buying a whole new drawer.

Part details

Genuine Haier part HR05X01179

Front cover for the freezer bin

Haier fridge freezer part

Compare shape, width and clips with your old cover before ordering

Swapping the bin front

Empty the bin and lift it out of the freezer so you can work on a bench. Note how the old front is held, usually with clips or small tabs, then ease it off without forcing the plastic. Let a cold bin warm to room temperature first, as it will be less likely to crack. Press the new cover on until every clip engages, then refit the bin.

Questions about this part

Do I get the whole freezer bin?

No. HR05X01179 is listed as the front cover for the freezer bin, not the complete bin. If the body of your bin is also damaged, check the parts list for your Haier model or send us the model number through the parts enquiry form.
