Changing the carbon filter

Switch the rangehood off at the wall or isolator and let the lights cool. Remove the grease filters to reach the carbon filter behind them. Most twist off, unclip or slide out of a frame. Fit the new filter the same way and make sure it's secure so it can't drop onto the cooktop. It's a good time to wash the grease filters while they're out.
