Fitting and caring for the inner filter
Turn the dryer off before removing the filter. Lift out the old inner filter, wipe away any lint around the housing, and press the new one in until it sits flat with no gaps at the edges. Clean the filter after every load, and wash the mesh in warm water now and then to remove fabric softener residue. Let it dry completely before refitting.
