Refitting the belt cover
Unplug the dryer before removing any panels. Access to the belt area is from the rear or by lifting the top, depending on the model. Check the belt for cracks or glazing while it is exposed. Fit the new cover in the same position as the old one, making sure it clears the belt and pulleys, then refit the panels and run the dryer briefly to listen for rubbing.
