Fisher & Paykel DW60CC and DW60CD dishwashers use this genuine inlet valve, part H012G5060020. It replaces the older number 791062 and is listed for the DW60CCW1 and DW60CCX1 and for the DW60CDW2 and DW60CDX2. The valve controls the flow of mains water into the dishwasher each time it fills.
F&P dishwasher not filling or overfilling?
A coil on the valve opens it when the controller asks for water and closes it once enough has entered. Faults show up as a dishwasher that won't fill, beeps or flashes an error at the start of the cycle, fills slowly or hums with no water flowing. Worse, a valve stuck open lets water keep running in until it shows up on the floor. Grit caught in the inlet screen can hold the valve partly open, so check the screen when tracking down the fault.

Changing the inlet valve
Shut the water tap and isolate the power. Ease the dishwasher out of its space and lay a towel down for the water left in the hose. Unscrew the inlet hose from the valve, note the wiring, remove the valve and fit the replacement. Tighten the hose without overdoing it, turn the tap on and watch for leaks.
