Fitting the kick strip

Switch the dishwasher off at the wall if you need to remove screws near any wiring. Kick strips are usually held by clips or a couple of screws along the bottom edge. Remove the old strip, line the new assembly up evenly with the door and press or screw it into place. Open the door fully to make sure it clears the strip.

No. The kick strip is the panel across the front below the door. The bottom door seal is a separate strip along the lower edge of the door that stops water escaping, and Haier sells it as a different part.
