Fitting the door lock

Switch the dishwasher off at the wall before you start. The lock is normally reached by removing the inner door panel or the top trim, depending on the model. Photograph the wiring on the old lock, transfer the connections to the new one, and make sure the hook lines up with the latch opening. Close the door gently a few times to check it catches cleanly before running a wash.
