Dishwasher leaking or washing poorly? Check the spray hose
During each cycle the wash pump pushes water at pressure through this hose to feed the spray arms. If it splits, perishes or comes loose at a joint, some of that water escapes into the base of the machine instead of reaching the dishes. You may see water on the floor, a leak or flood error, or crockery that comes out with food still stuck to it. A kinked or blocked hose can starve a spray arm, leaving one level of the dishwasher noticeably dirtier than the other.

Replacing the spray hose
Turn the dishwasher off at the wall and shut the tap. Draw the machine out of its cavity and lay towels down, as the base will hold some water. Note how the hose is routed and clipped before removing it. Push the new hose fully onto each spigot, refit any clamps, and run a rinse cycle with the kick panel off so you can spot drips.
