Product details
Basket in your Haier chest freezer broken or missing? H0070104494 is the genuine Haier replacement, recorded for the HCF148A chest freezer. The basket sits across the top of the cabinet so smaller items stay within reach instead of sinking to the bottom. If your freezer is a different HCF model, check the number on your old basket or send us the model from the freezer's rating label before you order.
Why a chest freezer basket matters
Chest freezers are deep, and without a basket the small packets, ice blocks and frozen treats end up buried under the roasts. The basket rests on ledges at the top of the cabinet and slides along so you can reach underneath. Baskets get damaged by overloading, by being dropped while full, or by being forced in at an angle. A bent or broken basket can also sit unevenly and stop the lid closing fully, which lets warm air in and leads to heavy frost around the rim.

Fitting the basket
No tools are needed. Lift out the old basket and wipe down the support ledges. Lower the new basket into place so both ends sit squarely on the ledges, then slide it end to end to check it moves freely. Close the lid and make sure it seals all the way round with the basket in its normal position.
Questions about this part
Will this basket fit other Haier chest freezers?
It's recorded for the HCF148A. Other HCF sizes may use a different basket because cabinet widths vary. Compare the number on your old basket, or send your freezer's model number through our parts enquiry form and we'll check.
