Product details
H0060871002A is a genuine Haier paddle assembly in black for Haier fridges with a door dispenser. The paddle is the lever you push with a glass, and it presses a switch behind the panel to start the flow. Haier offers paddles in different colours and styles to match the dispenser trim, so check yours is black and that the number matches your parts list.
Fridge dispenser not working when you push the lever
Paddles get pushed by heavy glasses and jugs every day. The pivot can crack, the return spring can break and the small arm that presses the switch can wear down. You may find the paddle pushes in but nothing comes out, it stays stuck in, or the dispenser keeps running after you let go. If the paddle moves normally but the dispenser is still dead, the switch, water valve or a frozen line may be the cause instead.

Fitting the dispenser paddle
Unplug the fridge and turn off its water supply if it's plumbed in. The paddle is usually released by removing the dispenser trim or a few screws from the recess. Note how any spring sits before taking the old paddle out. Fit the new paddle with the spring in the same position, refit the trim, then restore power and water and test the dispenser.
Questions about this part
Is it the paddle or the switch that has failed?
If the paddle feels loose, cracked or won't spring back, the paddle is the likely fault. If it moves normally but nothing happens, the switch, valve or a frozen water line are more likely. Check before ordering.
