Fisher & Paykel fridge not making ice?
The ice maker fills its tray with water, waits for it to freeze, then ejects the cubes into the bin and starts again. Faults include a tray that never fills, cubes that freeze but are not released, a motor that clicks or stalls, and ice that is small, hollow or fused together. An ice maker that keeps cycling, or overfills and spills water into the freezer, can also be faulty. Low water pressure, a clogged filter or a frozen fill tube can cause some of the same problems, so rule those out first.

Swapping the ice maker
Unplug the fridge and turn off the water supply. Empty the ice bin and remove it so you can reach the ice maker. Disconnect the wiring plug, undo the mounting screws and lift the old unit out, keeping an eye on the fill tube position. Fit the new assembly, reconnect power and water, and give the freezer time to come back down to temperature.
