Replacing the gasket
Give the new gasket time to flatten out at room temperature before fitting. Pull the old gasket away from the door, noting how it's retained, and clean the channel thoroughly. Press the new gasket in firmly, working from the corners towards the middle of each side. If there is a small gap after fitting, warm that area with a hairdryer and hold the door closed until it cools.
