Fitting the new gasket

Switch the fridge off at the wall. New gaskets are often creased from packing, so soak the seal in warm water for a few minutes to soften it before fitting. Peel the old one out of its channel, or undo the retaining screws under the lip if it has them, and work the new seal in from the corners. Close the door and check the seal touches the cabinet evenly all the way round.
