A wide range of Haier top loaders take genuine brake actuator H00330504012A, from the HWT07AN1 and HWT08AN1 through the HWT09AN1, HWT10AN1 and HWT12AD1 to the HWT60AA1 and HWT75AA1. It also fits Fisher & Paykel WL1064P1 and WL1264P1 machines, plus the WL8058G1 and WL9058G1. When the actuator fails, the basket usually won't release for spin, so the washer stalls or finishes with soaking wet clothes.
Top loader not spinning? Check the brake actuator
In these top loaders, a small actuator pulls on the brake and clutch mechanism under the tub. During washing the brake holds the basket still while the clothes are agitated. When it's time to spin, the actuator releases the brake so the basket can turn. A faulty actuator leaves the basket held, so the machine may drain but won't spin, show a spin or unbalance fault, or stop part way through. Clicking or humming from under the tub without the brake arm moving, or a broken pull arm or cable, also points to the actuator.

Fitting the brake actuator
Turn off the power and water, then let the tub drain fully. Access is from underneath, so lean the machine back carefully with a helper or lay it on a towel. Photograph the actuator's wiring and how its arm or cable links to the brake lever, as the adjustment matters. Fit the new actuator, reconnect the linkage exactly as it was, and run a drain and spin to check the basket releases.
