Haier HWT top load washers and two Fisher & Paykel models, the WL8058G1 and WL9058G1, use this genuine lint filter, part H0030811660. On the Haier side it covers the HWT07AN1 and HWT08AN1, the HWT09AN1 and HWT10AN1, MW series machines such as the HWT10MW1 and HWT12MW1, plus the HWT60FVW3, HWT70FVW3 and HWT75AA1. Replace it when the mesh tears or the frame cracks.
Fluff on clothes after washing
Water circulates through this filter during the wash, and its fine mesh catches lint, hair and loose fibres before they can settle back on your clothes. A torn mesh lets all of that straight back onto the washing, so dark items come out covered in fluff. A filter that's missing or won't stay clipped in does the same. Emptying and rinsing the filter regularly keeps water flowing through it, and replacing it once it's damaged is a quick and easy fix.

Fitting the lint filter
Turn the machine off first. Unclip the old filter, clean out any lint or grit from its mounting, then press the new filter into place until it's firmly seated. Give it a light pull to make sure it's secure before starting the next wash.
