Haier top loader leaking or draining slowly
The inner drain hose links the bottom of the outer tub to the drain system inside the machine. Every time the washer empties, this hose carries dirty water, lint and anything that slips out of pockets. It can split with age, perish from heat and detergent, or block with fluff, hair and coins. A cracked hose usually shows up as water under the machine while it drains, while a blocked one leaves water in the tub, slows the drain or stops the spin from starting.

Changing the inner hose
Unplug the washer, turn off the taps and bail out any water left in the tub. Depending on the model, you reach the hose by removing the rear or base panel or by carefully tipping the machine back. Note the routing and clamp positions, then fit the new hose the same way without kinks. Tighten the clamps and run a drain and spin to check for leaks before pushing the machine back.
