H0030214876 Genuine Neck Ring for Haier and Fisher & Paykel Washing Machines

H0030214876 is a genuine Haier part described as a neck ring. We list it with washing machine parts, but the description doesn't say exactly where it fits or which models use it. Matching the number on the old ring, or in your machine's parts diagram, is the way to confirm you've got the right one.

Replacing a cracked washing machine neck ring

Rings like this usually frame or reinforce an opening, holding a cover, seal or trim in shape and in position. Plastic rings in a washing machine see water, detergent, heat and constant vibration, so they can crack, warp or lose the clips or tabs that hold them in place. Signs of trouble include a rattle during spin, water splashing where it shouldn't, a cover or seal that won't stay seated, or visible cracks. Replace a damaged ring before it lets other parts work loose.

Before fitting the neck ring

Pull the power plug and close both taps. Take photos as you remove the old ring so you can see how it lines up with the parts around it, including any tabs, clips or screws. Clean the mating surfaces, fit the new ring in the same orientation, and make sure it sits evenly with no gaps before reassembling. Run a short cycle and watch for leaks or rattles.
