Fitting the drain hose
Switch the washer off at the wall, unplug it and close both taps. Have a bucket and towels ready, as water left in the pump and hose will spill when you disconnect it. Release the clamp at the pump outlet, fit the new hose and secure the clamp firmly. Route the hose without kinks, keep its outlet at the height your manual recommends and hook it securely into the tub or standpipe.
