If your Haier HWF10AN1 or HWF10ANB1 front loader has stopped taking water, the inlet valve is a prime suspect. H0024000586A is the genuine replacement, listed under both the Haier and Fisher & Paykel names. It's the electrically operated valve at the back of the machine where the tap hose connects, and it opens on command from the controller to fill the machine.
Haier washer not filling with water
Inside the valve is a solenoid coil and a small diaphragm. Power the coil and the diaphragm lifts to let water through, cut the power and it closes again. A burnt out coil or a torn diaphragm stops the fill, so the washer hums or pauses and then throws a water supply error. Grit trapped in the valve can stop it closing properly, leaving water trickling into the drum when the machine is off. Before replacing, make sure the tap is fully open, the hose isn't kinked and the filter screen at the hose end isn't blocked.

Replacing the inlet valve
Shut the tap off, switch off at the wall and disconnect the inlet hose. On most front loaders you take off the top panel to get to the valve. Snap a photo of the wiring plugs and internal hoses before removing anything, transfer them to the new valve in the same positions, then refit the panel and reconnect the hose with its washer in place. Watch the first fill closely for any drips.
