Product details
H0024000317 is a genuine Haier pressure sensor. In a washing machine, a sensor like this measures the water level in the tub through an air tube, so the controller knows when to stop filling. Haier makes more than one pressure sensor and pressure switch, so the number printed on the old part is your best guide.
Washing machine overfilling or not filling
As water enters the tub, it compresses air in a chamber at the bottom, and the pressure travels up a thin tube to the sensor. The control board reads that signal to decide when the tub is full. If the sensor fails or reads wrongly, the machine may overfill, stop filling too early, keep filling and draining, sit at the start of a cycle, or show a water level error. A split, kinked or blocked air tube, or a clogged air chamber, gives the same symptoms, so check them first.
Part details
- Genuine Haier part H0024000317
- Water level pressure sensor
- Connects to the air tube from the tub
- No model list on file, match the number on the old sensor
Changing the pressure sensor
Unplug the washer and turn the taps off. The sensor is usually behind the top panel. Pull off the air tube and blow through it gently to check it's clear, then unplug the wiring and release the sensor from its mount. Fit the new sensor, push the tube fully on and run a short wash to check it fills to the normal level.
Questions about this part
Is this the same as a pressure switch?
They do the same job of reading the water level. Older machines often use a pressure switch with fixed levels, while electronic sensors give the controller a continuous reading. Haier lists them under different numbers, so order the one that matches your old part.
