Seven models are on file: the WH7560J3, WH8060J3 and WH8560J3, the WH8060P2 and WH8560P2, and the WH8060F1 and WH8560F1. Washing machine display blank or buttons not working?
The display PCB sits behind the control panel and carries the screen, indicator lights and buttons you use to choose a program. It passes your selections to the main controller and shows progress and any fault codes. When it fails, the display may stay blank or show missing segments, buttons may not respond or need several presses, or the machine may beep without starting. Moisture getting into the panel, power surges and worn button contacts are common causes. Check the lead between this board and the main board first, as a loose plug gives similar faults.

Replacing the display board
Switch off at the wall, unplug the washer and wait a few minutes for any stored charge to drain. The board is usually reached by removing the top lid and then the control panel. Photograph each connector before unplugging it, touch an earthed metal part to discharge static and hold the new board by its edges. Refit the panel carefully so no wires are pinched, then power up and test every button.

If the machine has power but the panel stays dark, shows garbled segments or ignores button presses, the display board is the likely fault. If the display works but the drum won't turn, drain or fill, the main controller or another part is more likely. A technician can confirm before you order.
