F&P front loader leaking from the top front or the drawer?

During each fill, water from the inlet valve is sent into this tank and through the drawer compartments, carrying powder, liquid and softener down into the tub. Cracks, a warped housing or a perished joint to the tub hose lead to water leaking from the top front of the machine, suds or residue running down the front panel, puddles under the door while it fills, or detergent left behind in the drawer because water is escaping elsewhere. Heavy buildup of old detergent can also block the flow.

Changing the storage tank

Switch off at the wall, pull the plug and close both taps. Take out the detergent drawer and remove the top panel. The inlet valve may be attached to the old tank, so photograph the hoses and wiring and check whether the valve needs moving across or buying separately. Refit every hose with its clamp and run a rinse cycle to check for leaks.
