Haier's genuine dryer door seal H0020300702A fits the HDY60 and HDY60M, the HDY-D60 and HDY-E60, and the HDY-M40 and HDY-M60 clothes dryers. It's the soft seal around the door that keeps warm air and lint inside the drum while the dryer runs. If yours has split, flattened or come away, a new seal stops hot air and fluff escaping out the front.
Lint escaping or slow drying? Check the door seal
Hot air is meant to pass through the drum and out through the lint filter and vent. A worn door seal gives it an easier way out around the door. Clothes take longer to dry, warm air and lint come out at the door edge, and fluff collects on the floor in front of the machine. A poor seal can also let small items slip between the door and the drum, where you may hear rubbing or scraping. Look for gaps, tears or a seal that's gone hard and shiny, and check it hasn't simply popped out of its channel.

Replacing the dryer door seal
Pull the plug out of the wall before you start. Peel the old seal out of the door or front panel, then clean any lint and residue from the channel. Press the new seal in evenly, starting at the top and working around without stretching it. Close the door and run a short warm cycle, checking for air or fluff escaping at the edge.
