Broken or missing dispenser cover on your front loader?

The dispenser is where detergent and softener go before the wash, and water flushes each compartment into the drum at the right stage of the program. Its cover is one of the plastic parts that make up that assembly. Depending on where it sits, a cracked, warped or missing cover can let water splash out around the drawer, leave detergent or softener behind, or stop the drawer closing neatly. Drips running down the front of the machine below the drawer are another sign. It is a small part, but it keeps the dispenser working cleanly.
