Changing the door strike
Unplug the dryer before you start. Open the door and look at how the old strike is fixed, then remove its screws or release its clips and lift it away. Fit the new strike the same way round and tighten it without cracking the plastic. Close the door a few times to check it engages cleanly, then run a short cycle to make sure the door stays shut.
