Models on file run from the TO200W up to the TO600X in the TO series, plus the FEC500X, FEC500W, FEC605X and FEC605W, and the ECB46S, EBC46S and BLSS52-01. Check the old element's wattage before ordering.
Euro or Kleenmaid oven cold on fan bake?
Behind the back panel of the oven, a circular element surrounds the fan blade. On fan forced functions the fan draws air through this element and spreads the heat around the cavity. An element that has gone open circuit leaves the oven cold or barely warm on fan settings, even though the fan turns and the light is on. Shorted elements usually trip the safety switch or the circuit breaker the moment the oven is switched to fan. Look for cracks, blistering or burnt spots on the coil once the fan cover is off.

Fitting the fan element
Turn the oven off at the switchboard first, and remember hard-wired ovens need a licensed electrician. Remove the shelves and unscrew the fan cover. Undo the element fixing screws, ease it forward and label each wire as you disconnect it. Hold the old and new elements together to confirm the shape and terminal position match, then fit the new one and test on a fan setting.
