Changing a G9 oven globe

Turn the oven off at the isolator and let it cool fully. Unscrew or prise off the lamp cover, then pull the old G9 globe straight out of its holder. Handle the new halogen globe with a clean cloth or gloves, as skin oils on the glass shorten its life. Push it firmly into the holder, refit the cover and test the light.
