It is a simple universal style part that suits many brands. Before ordering, check the end size of your current hose and how you plan to join the two, so the connection is secure and won't leak.

When a 1m drain hose extension helps

Moving a washer or dishwasher to a new spot often leaves the drain hose just short of the outlet. Stretching a hose tight or wedging the machine closer is asking for trouble, as a hose that pulls out of the standpipe mid pump-out can flood the floor in seconds. An extra metre gives you room to route the hose neatly with gentle curves. Keep the total run as short as practical, since a long or kinked drain hose makes the pump work harder and can leave water sitting in the machine.

Part details

Generic drain hose extension

1m length

Universal style part for washing machine and dishwasher drain hoses

Stock code EXT1

Length

1m

Joining the extension

Switch the appliance off at the wall and have a bucket and towel handy for water left in the old hose.
