When to change a fridge water filter

Swapping the cartridge

Turn off the water supply to the fridge if your manual recommends it, and keep a towel handy for drips. Remove the old cartridge as your fridge manual describes, then push or twist the new one in until it locks. Run a few litres through the dispenser to flush out air and carbon fines before drinking, and reset the filter indicator if fitted.
