EFC200UNI is a generic universal fan motor kit for fan forced ovens, rated 32W at 240V. It is an aftermarket motor, not one made by any oven brand, and it suits cases where the exact motor for your oven is no longer available or hard to source. Before ordering, compare the wattage, shaft length, mounting holes and wiring of your old motor so you know the kit will suit your oven.
Fan forced oven not circulating heat or fan noisy
The fan motor sits behind the back panel of the oven and spins the blade that moves hot air around the cavity. When it fails, fan forced cooking becomes uneven, the oven takes longer to heat and the ring element can overheat. Worn bearings make the motor squeal, grind or rumble, especially from cold, and a seized motor may hum without turning. With the oven off and cold, turn the blade by hand. If it feels rough or tight, the motor is worn.

Checking fit and installing the motor
Isolate the oven at the switchboard, and if it is hard-wired have a licensed electrician fit the motor. Remove the inner back panel and fan blade, then the old motor from the rear of the oven. Measure the shaft length and diameter and check the mounting holes against the new kit before drilling or adapting anything. Refit the blade securely and run the fan to check for rubbing or vibration.
