Signs of a failed inverter board

Fitting an inverter board
Inverter boards store a high voltage in their capacitors after the power is cut, so isolate the supply and wait several minutes before touching the board. Hard-wired equipment must be worked on by a licensed electrician or qualified technician. Photograph every plug and wire, apply fresh thermal compound where the power module meets the heat sink if your board mounts that way, and tighten the mounting screws evenly.
