LG top loaders measure how much water is in the bowl with a pressure switch, and part EBF62754507 is the genuine replacement. It replaces EBF62754501 and EBF62754504. Listed models include the WTG6520 and WTG7520, the WTG8520 and WTG8521, the WTG9020V, the WTS6520 and the WF-T8582. If your machine overfills, underfills or keeps filling, this sensor is a common cause.
LG washer overfilling or showing a water level error
A thin air hose runs from the bottom of the tub to this sensor. As water rises, it compresses the air in the hose, and the sensor reports the level to the main control board. If the sensor drifts or fails, the board gets the wrong reading. The result can be a machine that keeps filling until water spills, one that won't start washing because it thinks it's empty, a tub that's only half full on a big load, or a water level error code on the display. Check the air hose for kinks, splits or a blocked end before replacing the switch.

Changing the pressure switch
Unplug the washer and turn off the taps. The sensor is usually mounted at the back of the top deck under the control panel. Note the plug and air hose positions, move the air hose to the new switch and check it's pushed fully on without a kink. Run a short cycle and confirm the machine fills to the right level and starts washing.
