LG air conditioner blowing no air? Check the indoor fan motor
Without the indoor fan, the unit can't move heated or cooled air into the room even though the outdoor unit runs. Typical signs of a failed DC fan motor are louvres that open with no airflow, a fan that starts then stops after a few seconds, a fan error code on the display, grinding or humming from the indoor unit, and ice forming on the coil in cooling mode. DC motors report their speed back to the control board, so a motor that can't reach speed is often shut down by the board for its own protection.

Fitting the indoor fan motor
Isolate the air conditioner at its circuit breaker before opening the indoor unit. The motor normally sits at one end of the fan, behind the casing and sometimes the drain tray, so allow time to dismantle carefully. Photograph cable routing and earth points. This work should be done by a licensed electrician or air conditioning technician.
