EAU62043403 is the genuine LG DC drain pump motor assembly, listed for LG dishwashers including the LD1452WFEN2, LD1452MFEN2 and D1454TFSPL. LG dishwasher not draining? Signs the pump has failed
At the end of each wash and rinse, this pump pushes the dirty water out through the drain hose. When the motor fails or the impeller jams, water stays in the sump, the cycle stalls and many LG models show a drain error on the display. You might also hear a hum or buzz with no water moving, or notice a sour smell from water left standing. Before replacing the pump, clean the filter in the base of the tub and check the drain hose isn't kinked or blocked, as both cause the same symptoms.

Changing the drain pump
Switch off at the wall and turn off the water tap. Remove the filter and soak up the water in the sump with a sponge or towel before tipping or opening the machine. Access is usually from underneath once the base panel is off. Photograph the plug and hose positions, swap the pump, then run a rinse cycle and check for leaks around the pump seal.
