EAU60905403 is a genuine LG DC motor assembly for the fan in an air conditioner's outdoor unit. It drives the fan that pulls air through the condenser coil. It also serves as the replacement where the old outdoor fan motor was EAU52759301, although that swap needs extra mounting hardware, covered below. One firm rule: it is not a substitute for motor 4681A20122A.
LG outdoor unit fan not spinning?
In a split system the outdoor fan moves air across the condenser so the refrigerant can shed heat in cooling mode and pick it up in heating mode. When the fan motor fails, the fan may sit still while the compressor runs, turn slowly, or make a grinding or rattling noise. The system then struggles, cooling and heating drop away, and the unit may shut down and display an error code to protect itself. A seized motor can also feel stiff when you turn the blade by hand with the power isolated.

Before fitting the outdoor fan motor
Air conditioners are hard-wired and their inverter boards hold a charge, so this motor should be fitted by a licensed air conditioning technician or electrician. Isolate the outdoor unit at the switchboard or isolator and give the board time to discharge. If the motor coming out is EAU52759301 on a single fan unit, order bracket MAZ62861511 and four FAB30741101 screws as well. On twin fan units, confirm the bracket against your model number.
