DW4KG Aktivo Ultra Concentrate Dishwashing Powder 4kg, Automatic Dishwasher Detergent in a Bulk Pack

DW4KG is Aktivo's ultra concentrate dishwashing powder in a 4kg pack, made for automatic dishwashers. The larger size suits big households, holiday rentals and anyone who runs the dishwasher every day. Since it's a concentrate, a smaller scoop goes further, so measure each dose by the pack directions rather than filling the cup to the top out of habit.

Using dishwasher powder for better wash results

Powder gives you control that tablets don't, because you can use less for a light load or a little more for baked-on pots and hard water. Getting the dose right matters. Overdosing can leave a cloudy film on glassware and foam in the machine, while too little leaves grit and food marks behind. Pair the powder with rinse aid for spot-free drying, keep the filter clean, and check the spray arm holes aren't blocked if results drop off.

Dosing and storage

Check the label for the dose and first aid directions before use. Add powder to the detergent cup only, never the rinse aid dispenser, and shut the cup lid properly. Reseal the pack after each use and keep it somewhere dry, as damp powder clumps and won't dissolve well. Store it up high, out of reach of children and pets.

Questions about this part

Why are my glasses cloudy?

Cloudiness often comes from using too much detergent for soft water, or from etching on older glassware. Try a smaller dose and top up the rinse aid. If the film wipes off it's residue, but if it won't, the glass may be etched.
