De'Longhi oven not heating on some functions?
Each position on the function knob tells the oven which heat source to use, whether that is the top element, the bottom element, the grill or the fan with its element. The selector does this with a set of contacts that open and close as the shaft rotates. Once those contacts burn or wear, the oven may heat on one setting and stay cold on another, the fan or light may not come on, or the knob may click round without changing anything. Discoloured or melted wiring at the switch is a strong sign it has been overheating.

Fitting the function switch
This is a mains voltage job, and hard-wired ovens should be handled by a licensed electrician. Turn the oven off at the circuit breaker and confirm it is dead. Label each wire as it comes off the old switch, or take a clear photo, then transfer them one at a time to the matching terminals on the new switch. Test all functions once it is back together.
